Important update from No Denial Foods
It’s been 3.5 years since I started No Denial Foods. From sharing my treats with friends all of the way to my own commercial kitchen, it’s been a crazy ride. Thousands of packs of sweet nuts sold, hundreds of pies and much more... I’m so proud of what I was able to build and accomplish and could not have done it without you.
The food industry is a beast and even if you sell a lot, it is extremely difficult to make money.
I have reached a point in my business that has led me to re-evaluate this path. The past few years have taken a toll on my body, cost me a lot of money and put a financial and emotional strain on my family.
I started this company because of my personal struggles with food. Diabetes and celiac disease are tough when it comes to sweets. My mission was to create sweet treats that were healthier, and I did that. My vision was to bring the joy of food back into more people’s lives, and I will continue to do that. But as a sustainable business, it’s just not working.
Come December, I have decided to stop selling my products.
As far a No Denial Foods goes, this isn’t the end. I will leave the door open for when inspiration and motivation reappear. I don’t know what that will look like, but it is my personal passion, so when the time is right, I will re-engage.
The One Of A Kind Holiday Show will be my last event. Come visit me, buy some Posh Nosh, or just share a hug or a smile.
I am already planning my next move and will be looking for a job, but first I have to explore the options that exist and how my skills match up. If you have any thoughts, suggestions or ideas, definitely reach out.
Thank you, thank you, thank you, my amazing tribe.
